Branan Campaign Releases New Ad: Conservative Leadership

Shows Strength in Final Stretch of Primary Campaign

OKLAHOMA CITY  ̶  Today the Branan for Oklahoma campaign released its latest TV ad in the campaign for the open seat on the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.  The ad cites Branan’s conservative leadership in the state Senate and lays out Branan’s bold agenda: create jobs, continue Oklahoma’s leadership toward energy independence, and fight against President Obama’s burdensome, job-killing EPA regulations.

“As I campaign across our great state, Oklahomans tell me they want a proven conservative leader that will help us continue our economic renaissance driven by the oil and gas industry,” Branan said.

“As a small business owner I have created jobs, as chairman of the Senate Energy Committee I have written laws that have expanded Oklahoma oil and gas exploration, and as Oklahoma’s next Corporation Commissioner I will continue fighting for energy independence and against President Obama’s job-killing EPA regulations,” Branan said.

“President Obama’s new power plant regulatory scheme will mandate cost increases for Oklahoma families and businesses and is expected to cost the U.S. economy an outrageous $50 billion per year,” said Branan.

“Also the EPA’s quest to control hydraulic fracturing in Oklahoma must be stopped and, as Oklahoma’s next Corporation Commissioner, I will not allow President Obama to conduct his war on fossil fuels inside our state.  I am committed to ensuring Oklahoma leads the way to American energy independence, free of overreaching federal regulations.”

Branan added, “We are excited about our campaign’s momentum and that our conservative message is resonating with Oklahomans from every corner of the state.”

The primary election will be held on Tuesday, June 24th.
